Achievements Unlimited, at its core, is about the impact our agency has on our clients’ lives and our work within the Saint Louis community. Individuals who attend our program participate in volunteer opportunities while learning valuable pre-vocational skills along the way.

At Forest Park Forever, our clients help park staff keep the area sanitary and safe for all patrons by cleaning up litter.

At the St. Louis Area Foodbank, they assist in sorting and packing items into boxes for food pantries around Missouri and Illinois.

When volunteering at Hope Church, clients help stock the free clothing and grocery areas by sorting clothes by size, hanging items on racks, and placing food items on shelves.

At Seeds of Hope Farm, clients learn about plants and how to care for them, planting their own fruits, vegetables, and flowers, and then caring for them each visit. The produce they grow supports local food pantries and cooking classes that promote healthy eating.

Every month, clients at AU also create craft kits for the St. Louis Crisis Nursery. At the end of the month, a group delivers the kits to the facility, where children receiving crisis care assemble them.

Through these partnerships, our clients see how their contributions affect the community around them. They participate in and learn about reciprocity through giving back in ways that build their own skills while strengthening the communities they are part of.
