What Growth Looks Like

At Achievements Unlimited, success is rooted in building the skills, routines and confidence that make everyday life more manageable, and more fulfilling, for each individual.

That might mean learning how to communicate a need without frustration.

It might be participating in a community event, preparing a product for market, or completing a volunteer shift for the first time. For some, it means transitioning out of our services altogether.

Every success we see is the result of consistency, care and individualized, research-backed support. The stories below are just a few examples of what that looks like in practice.

Frequently Asked Questions

What defines a “success” at Achievements Unlimited?
Success depends entirely on the person. It may look like increased independence, improved communication, reduced behavioral incidents, or more consistent participation. It’s measured through both data and observation—and always based on the individual’s goals.
Are there formal graduation points?
Some clients reach a place where they no longer need our support and transition to a different level of care, employment, or independence. Others continue to grow here long term. Our approach adapts to what’s appropriate for each person.
Can families or caregivers share their experience?
Yes. If you’d like to share a story about working with AU or the progress you’ve seen in someone you referred, you’re welcome to contact us. [Get in touch here →]
